Naturopathy Treatments

What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is application of herbal medicine, wholistic nutrition and lifestyle solutions to bring the body back to a state of balance. Naturopathy aims to re-establish health in times of illness or disease, utilising both traditional and evidence-based medicine to bring you the best possible outcome.

At each treatment session we aim to improve your ongoing health and wellbeing through individualised treatment, guidance and care. The use of homeopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine and other wellness treatments will be discussed with you at your initial consultation. This will help your therapist and you select the most appropriate options. This enables us to specialise in the management of chronic conditions, short term aliments and help to prevent further health deterioration.

Natural methods are effective in treating and healing conditions related from injury, stress, lifestyle or other specific disorders. In some cases a Naturopath is one of the last therapists someone will see after a long search for help treating their condition. The benefits on starting this journey early can be profound. As it rarely negatively interferes with ongoing medical management (such as treatment under your GP), instead Naturopathy may improve your recovery and management of conditions by promoting a healthier body and mind.

Will my therapist be using herbal medicine?

Your practitioner will utilize herbal medicine in the form of liquid tonics. Herbal tonics are a potent form of plant medicine that helps safely and effectively address your presenting health concerns. These are curated specifically for the individual and can address a number of concerns in the one tonic, they will be blended by your naturopath at the conclusion of your consultation, if appropriate.
